According to wholevehicles, Morocco is a country located on the northwest coast of Africa. It has a population of 35 million people, and its official language is Arabic. The country is bordered by Algeria to the east, Western Sahara to the south, and the Mediterranean Sea to the north. Morocco is divided into four distinct geographic regions: The Rif Mountains in the north, the Middle Atlas Mountains in the center of the country, the High Atlas Mountains in the south, and finally, a large coastal plain that runs along Morocco’s western coast. The Rif Mountains are home to some of Morocco’s most remote villages and are known for their lush green valleys and rugged terrain. This region experiences cooler temperatures than other parts of Morocco due to its higher elevation. The Middle Atlas Mountains are an extension of this region and offer stunning views as well as numerous outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and skiing in winter months. The High Atlas Mountains are a range of mountains located further south from the Middle Atlas range that stretches across much of northern Africa. This region offers visitors stunning views from its highest peaks such as Mount Toubkal which stands at 4167m tall. This area also sees much snowfall throughout winter months making it popular for skiing and other winter sports activities. Finally, a large coastal plain runs along Morocco’s western coast where many cities such as Casablanca can be found here. This area stretches from Tangier all the way down to Agadir providing travelers with breathtaking views over both land and sea. Along this coastline lies many small fishing villages which offer visitors an insight into traditional Moroccan life as well as access to some of Morocco’s freshest seafood dishes!
